Tristan Parry

I started out as an illustrator - specialising in children's books. I illustrated 'The Yowie' series (4 titles) and was included in an Anthology of Childrens' Books. I also designed and illustrated a number of other children's picture books, including 'Princess Diana - A True Fairytale' and 'Tilly and Mrs Tweddle'. 

I became a graphic artist, followed by a 20 year stint in advertising - starting as a humble finished artist. I got into writing after realising that I could write much better headlines and copy than the highly paid Creative Director who drove the flash car. I moved from Art Director to Copy Writer and finally Creative Director at in a number of agencies in Sydney, specialising in integrated marketing for the IT sector.

With an always restful mind and the ability to pick up new technologies, video and motion graphics was a natural step. My partner Kay and I now run a video production, sketch animation and creative agency based in Sydney, Australia - but also do work for clients in the US, the UK and Europe.
